Garden outbuilding under Permitted Development for a self-build client in Bush Hill Park

A backyard cabanon for indulging in the sacred act of pottering about. The client asked us to curate an assemblage of materials and construction techniques so that they could exhibit their building skills.

Exposed frogs on the brickwork playfully display the local sourcing of the material. Privacy was a critical factor in the design which we addressed through extending the timber cladding across the inward opening windows.
