A characterful loft extension for a purpose built maisonette flat in Walthamstow
A rounded zinc clad loft extension enabled a new loft bedroom and ensuite to be housed in this unusual purpose built maisonette, increasing it to a 3 bedroom property.
The barrel roof form reduced the perceived bulk and mass of the extension, while referencing the light industrial context of the surrounding area. Characterful peaked windows in the proposal mirror those on the front elevation.
